Our Treatments

The Clinical Team at IN FORM Osteopathy are experienced in treating the following conditions:

Headaches and Migraines

A large majority of headaches and migraines can be successfully treated with osteopathic medicine.

Low back pain

Almost everybody will experience low back pain at some point in their life. The human spine is an amazing feat of engineering, combining flexibility with strength, but many factors influence how it works.

Pre and post natal care

The body goes through incredible changes during pregnancy, and pre existing mechanical conditions can be aggravated by these altered conditions. While osteopathic treatment throughout pregnancy is safe, as a rule we normally don't treat in the first trimester.

Sporting injuries

Osteopathic treatment for sporting injuries looks at not only the injury but everything around the injury too.

Shoulder injuries

The shoulder is the most flexible joint in the body, capable of a number of complex movement patterns.

Disc injuries

Between nearly all the vertebrae in our spines lay the discs, they consist of a fibrous outer layer (the annulus) and a pulpy nucleus, these structures allow the spine to move in all planes, and act like shock absorbers.

Everybody has heard of 'Sciatica'. The term is often misused to describe leg pain. The sciatic nerve is the thickest peripheral nerve in the body

Knee pain

The knee is one of the biggest joints in the body, it takes the full weight of the body every time we take a step and many times our body weight when we go up or down stairs

In the treatment of patients with asthma, osteopaths attend to respiratory mechanics, with particular attention to how the ribs move in their articulations with the vertebrae

Jaw/Facial pain

The temperomandibular joint, or TMJ, is a common site of pain and dysfunction. It can cause localised pain, and headaches.
